If your looking to dive with some of the best equipment a new diver is allowed to touch this is your place. I shopped around because I was told with better equipment and a bit more coaching I would be able to justify getting my advanced. I am extremely happy that I lucked out with this place. They freelance their boats so you have a lot more flexibility what dive sites you will go too. If I had been in lot to for even another 12 hours I would have went out on the afternoon dive ndls permitting. I thought that me being a beginner that everyone wouldn't give me the time of day on the boat but everyone was very helpful. Being able to listen to the tech divers/seeing their equipment was absolutely worth it!

It's the one stop dive school that you can learn everything from entry level diving to tech diving. I recently completed my Sidemount & Deco 40 courses and had the pleasure of being taught by Erik Brown aka Master Chief. After our first brief on day one I knew going into the courses that I was going to be taught by the best and this was confirmed throughout the time I spent completing them. Highly professional, hugely experienced and most importantly conducted in a safe and controlled manner I could not be happier that I chose Erik and the team (Derek, Liz, LJ etc.) at Hydronauts on entering the technical world of diving. First class service along with amazing equipment made the whole experience truly memorable and I look forward to continuing my learning with these guys!!!! Came back to Koh Tao just to train and learn from Derek and Erik and the rest of the Hydronauts family this winter and they are top notch. I did my Sidemount, Deep, Advanced wreck and Deco training with these guys and it was an outstanding experience to say the least. Visibility was a bit on the rough side during the courses but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. If you are looking to get into diving or further you learning I couldn’t recommend a better group of people to get some training from. Erik, Derek, Liz, LJ and everyone else make one hell of a team. It was truly a pleasure. I’ll be back for more deco as the years go on. Cheers Mates!!

Best instruction I have come across in recreational diving so far. I did the Sidemount, Nitrox and Deep 40 courses. It's not your typical half hearted read from a book and jump in the water kind of dive centre; you'll leave with confidence in your knowledge and high standard of skills. I couldn't have been happier with the training, thanks Erik!

Just finished my second round of courses with Erik Brown and needless to say it was awesome! Once you have been on a course with this guy you will realise the skill set he has to offer! My diving has improved dramatically under the guidance of Erik and I've never felt safer pushing myself in technical diving under his guidance! If you want to dive properly and hone your skills under one of the best instructors in the world, come see Erik!
